Default BET launches Boomerang TV Series

It has been announced that Eddie Murphy's 1992 movie Boomerang will be made into a drama series on BET. Boomerang will follow a storyline very different from the 1992 movie of the same name and will feature a different actor playing Eddie Murphy's character and Robin Givens will not be reprising her same role as in the movie too but Halle Berry will be co-producer of Boomerang The Series. After success with movies such as Tyler Perry's Meet The Browns and Soul Food being spun off into TV shows I think the Boomerang TV series is a real smart idea for BET to do

Hi, Bestie! I hope Murphy does some gust apperances on this show. Boomerang was not one of his best movies, I wonder why they picked it? What do you think was his best movie? I say Dr. Doolittle was his best.

I never heard of the Boomerang TV series but i'll always think the 1992 film version of Boomerang is the best.

So far this series has been just okay, hopefully season 2 will be better!
