Default Crashing star Artie Lange says his deformed nose is a result of his drug use

...and a kidnapping

https://pagesix.com/2019/01/28/artie...dly-kidnapped/

The former Howard Stern Show personality, who tested positive for cocaine use in December, says drug use is partially to blame for his deformed nose. But he claims that owing a bookie "62 grand" led to his kidnapping, resulting in his face getting beaten up.

Pete Holmes: Artie Lange was "sort of coming undone" by the time we shot the final Crashing episode

Holmes tells The Last Laugh podcast he found it "a little bit said" shooting his last scene with Lange, who was arrested Tuesday for violating his drug treatment program. “To know Artie is to be concerned about him,” says Holmes. “And I say that with love. I would say that if he were here.”

It's time to address the issue of why people turn to the use of recreational drugs in the first place. Otherwise we as a society are treating the symptoms and not the cause.
