Geography lesson for the day:

Chicago is a city, not a state. The state in which Chicago is located is Illinois.

Admittedly, that is confusing, considering that Harlem is a neighborhood in a city whose name matches its state: New York, New York. Many people say "New York City, New York", or just plain "New York City" (I don't believe there is another New York City in the world!) if they want to be extra specific.

I know Chicago is not a state. I said the Evans relocated to a different state-WHICH WAS ILLINOIS to live in a different GHETTO, which was a Chicago Neighborhood.

Good Times is a spinoff. Always has been, always will be. You have yet to provide solid proof that it is not. There are hundreds of articles stating that fact to back me up. Where are yours?

Secondly, Good Times was NOT a planned spinoff. It was an idea for a show to stand seperately from the All in the Family universe. However, Norman Lear wanted a vehicle to spinoff the Florida Evans character and combined the two ideas to come up with Good Times.

I have another Jet Magazine from May 1974 with the Good Times cast on the front. I will let you know what I find inside.

If the magazine says it's a spinoff, will you finally concede that it is one?

There's the absolutely no reason for you and ONLY YOU to think GT was not a spinoff.

Maude-Florida Evans(Maid)

Good Times-Florida Evans(Former Maid)

Coincedence? I think not.

I just need to call or email Norman Lear to put a end to this debate.

I think that is a novel idea. You need to be educated on the truth.
