Well since season 1 did so poorly they would have to see how the next season does before releasing the entire series on DVD

I think they will release the complete series. A Season 2 release would make people angry when they release the complete series then they will have a little of ODAAT. It will be like Jeffersons or FOL or WBK.

I have a speculation I've floated here before, but I'll do it again. Putting aside season one sales figures, right in the middle of season two is an Elton John song that must be mega expensive to license , yet the show fans would expect it to be there. It might just be a coincidence, but that can't help.

Well ODAAT fans can be thankful the show is on Antenna TV and Youtube

ALice and Chico and The Man fans can't say that

Shout could handle the Elton John song. They cleared him for WKRP, so they can do it for ODAAT.

True, although it wouldn't be a big deal for me if it was replaced since I wasn't even born when the show first aired and wouldn't even know the difference, although it would upset people that watched it then.

I hate it when people say "Just release Season 2 and see how that goes" I mean, obviously Shout would release a complete series set and then Seasons 2-9 without music edits or any other edits sometime this year along with "Diff'rent Strokes." I don't want to record off of Antenna. I want a complete series set with unedited episodes and no crunched credits

I did the math on that. If season 1 came out 2007, and season 2 would be 2016, that's a nine year pace. So....

Season 3-2025
Season 4-2034
Season 5-2043
Season 6-2052
Season 7-2061
Season 8-2070
Season 9- and Schneider's moving to Florida in 2079

^ Yeah, so a complete series would be WAY better than releasing the seasons individually.

Looks like only 9 people purchased season 1 in 2007
