Yes i find it odd and dont get me started about The Charley Project. The girl that runs it seems odd to me, i run a facebook page about disappeared and her posts and replies to some of my questions are not what i would call professional.

Megan, the one who made The Charley Project, is nice to me, at least. She added the cases of Justin Burgwinkel, Hugh Harlin, Jim Wood and Dale Kerstetter onto the site when I sent her all the pertinent information.

As for Pamela Ray, I too believe she was accosted by a serial predator/while making her way to the front desk. The fact that people heard screams but didn't do anything screams "the Kitty Genovese effect" all over again. Her poor children had to grow up without her. Pamela was not a bad mother in my opinion, just a woman who was struggling to make ends meet and may have made some bad decisions but for the right reasons. I hope her remains are found so her family has something to bury.

Meghan didn't make the Charley Project. Someone else did and eventually handed the reins over to her.

Ok. Let's get back on the topic. What is the latest in Pamela Ray's disappearance? Are the police still investigating it as of now? Have they eyed a viable suspect?

I believe the cops think they know who did it, just didn't have the evidence for an arrest. The officer who underwent hypnosis to get a description of the man who he observed following her gave a description that matched a man who had sexually assaulted and kindapped a woman 5 months prior to Pamela's disappearance. The prior kidnapping and sexual assault happened an hour north from where Pamela disappeared. The guy was arrested, but eventually the charges were dropped. It's just to odd an coincidence that within 6 months two women would be targeted in roughly the same area, by a man who matched descriptions of people seen in both areas, IMO.

Didn't that same individual die? Or am I thinking of the wrong perp/case?

Just a tip, but you may want to start using the quote button when replying. When you reply without quoting, we do not know who you are talking to.

Did you send her any others? I believe George Owens and Jean Moore were added at the request of person(s) here. I sent her a bunch of missing persons shows from UM, Disappeared and others. Don't think she did much with them.

Man, that Jim Wood one is bizarre. Don't think I've ever seen that one. I'll have to check my collection.

Okay, it was in my collection and I had seen it before. Been a long time and it was a pretty short segment, so I guess that's why I didn't remember it.

I only sent her ones from Unsolved Mysteries that I noticed were not on The Charley Project. I went through all the missing persons cases from the show and just those few were absent. The only one that I think wasn't posted was the case of Carlos Alvarez, the little California boy who was abducted by his uncle and uncle's friend, because there's no articles of the case or the physical description of either three to add enough information to the site.

Speaking of Carlos Alvarez, I firmly believe he was abducted for pedophilous reasons. The case just screamed creepy. I can't find much about the case other than its mention on Unsolved Mysteries.
