I've always loved The Flintstones, though never got around to getting the complete-series DVD. I will one day, though this is nice news.

A note about having shows on DVD and watching on TV- I have "Mama's Family" and
"Wonder Woman," though still like watching the reruns on MeTV.

The blog today says Bedrock and Mayberry will now be neighbors, but unless M*A*S*H gets moved out of its seemingly permanent 7PM hour, M*A*S*H will still be separating The Flintstones and Andy Griffith. Or maybe they will move Andy to the 5PM hour.

First of all, the other shows I forgot were She-Ra and Mr. Magoo...secondly, the Sid and Marty Krofft shows weren't part of the AniMeTV block, but another block called "Sid and Marty Krofft and MeTV..." thirdly, since when did Tiny Toon Adventures air on Antenna TV?

Regarding Mr. Slate

Yeah , all three of his hairs!! That made me laugh when they said his hair Is black!! One time he did have hair though! He was still bald on top , but he had a ring of hair around the bottom of his head like the older or middle aged men used to have back in those days if they were balding! I think it was only on one ep and I'm not sure which, but I was always curious about why Mr.Slate was different this one time??

Yeah, Mr. Slate changed appearance during the run of the show, just like Mel Blanc changed Barney's voice. Mr. Slate might even have had a different name early on.

Does anyone know if, on the season 6 DVDs, they used any of the closing credits with Pebbles and Bamm Bamm singing their song? I remember those so vividly from the original showings.

So you like watching commercials then? Doesn't make sense to own a show on dvd and watch it on Television also.

Mama's family......God what an awful show.

I still watch The Goldbergs in syndication even though I have the DVDs of the first three seasons. The same thing is done for That 70's Show with me.

Hey now, don't go hating on Mama's Family.

How about this for a little stunt programming? They show a cartoon and itís real life inspiration back to back. So The Honeymooners/ The Flintstones and The Phil Silvers Show/Top Cat. Any other possibilities?
