Default A song or group that lists a specific year or the word YEAR

This may be harder to come up with lots of examples, so I'm suggesting 2 per post. Song Title or Group

In The Year 2525 - Zager & Evans

1999 - Prince

actually I thought it was rather clever to try to list them chronologically. If you're saying that that post makes you feel out of the music loop, half those songs are over 20 years old. "Oh What A Night" is from 1976, "Summer Of '69" is from 1984, David Bowie's "1984" dates back to 1974, while Tina's cover and the Van Halen track of the same name are from said year, "1999" is from 1982 and The Stones did "2000 Man" in 1967 and Kiss did it in 1979. So it's not all loaded with newer songs that you may not have heard of.

No, I think the point was that you listed so many when Rich suggested 2 per post. I don't think it has anything to do with how old the songs are because from what I see, Zoneboy is very knowledgable when it comes to music.

Walk,Don't Run '64 by the Ventures. This was a space-age sounding instrumental remake (and it was also a hit for them)of their 1960 hit instrumental "Walk,Don't Run"Does anyone remember EITHER song?
