Happy Days was done right the first time. We need another remake like a hole in the head. We're going to get remakes of every friggin' show ever made...how exciting.

And we don't need a nostalgia sitcom about the '70s because we have That '70s Show, which is pretty bad.

We'll have the reunion special next month - It'll probably be a cheesy, scripted one like the last one in 1992. I can't say for certain that one was scripted, but it came off that way.

I think you might want to add Justin Shenkarow as Mel Mullett and Philip Winchester as Fred Owens. (Phil did a great job playing Scott in that Thunderbirds movie)

No Happy Days movie. The original was great - leave it alone.

I couldn't agree more! I'd be interested in a movie with the original cast only, which can be done. Proven by Winkler and Howard when they did those political ads, what miracles can be done by dying your hair and putting on a hair piece, LOL. They should do one while Tom and Marion are still alive.

Yes, but only if Ted McGinley agrees. Without him, they shouldn't even bother.

Wasn't Happy Days loosely based on "American Graffiti" anyway? Seems to me there's already been a movie! I would NOT want to see a Happy Days movie at all.

Which came first? The chicken or the egg?

In this case, Happy Days came first. Garry Marshall filmed the pilot, but ABC rejected it. It was aired as an episode of the anthology series Love, American Style and that was that.

However, when American Graffiti came out in '73 and was a big hit, the big guy at ABC said "Hey, what about that fifties show Garry Marshall came up with?"

Garry Marshall shot a new pilot, replacing Harold Gould as Howard and adding the Fonzie character and the rest...is history.

Hey, if they're gonna do another pointless remake, make it as bad as possible. Don't even have the Richie character in it. And have Fonzie get Mrs. C pregnant. You know those two had something going on, even if the series never admitted it.

I must admit, I did like The Brady Bunch Movie, but more because it came off as a spoof rather than a remake.

Just remake the later period Happy Days, because....well, just because.
