Default Happy Days Movie

Hi Im New Here. Anyways, I've been thinking lately about how they made movies for The Beverly Hillbillies, The Brady Bunch, The Little Rascals and lots more, and i was thinking, what if they made a movie for the greatest sitcom ever, Happy Days!

Only if it's done right. The Brady Bunch was a cool TV show, but the movie was **** on a shingle.

Thanks for the big welcome everyone. Anyways, yeah the Brady movie was bad, but not all movies from sitcoms are bad. The Beverly Hillbillies and Leave It To Beaver movies ruled. As long as they keep Tom Bosley and Marion Ross as the Cunninghams.

Hi, I'm White_Daisy aka I have no name, Welcome to the boards and I agree, you will love it here. As for the movie idea, I don't think I'd be able to stand that. They'd ruin it to appeal to more people (i.e. Marion, bored housewife, has torrid affair with son's best friend). Uh no...

I think having a Happy Days movie would be great, if they did it back in the late 70s or early 80s! Not that its a bad idea, but if they did it you wouldn't have the same cast members playing in it, and as White_Daisey said, the producers would make it to appeal to the modern generation. It just wouldn't work.

BTW,

I would be great if they made a Happy Days reunion. I wonder what it will be about?

If they made a reunion, it would prb have a message targeted at today's younger generation and they'd prove that everyone's still happy as always. I know this is blasphemy, but I don't really want a reunion. I like they way they left it off, the mystery. I've already imagined wha's happened to the characters and I'd be heartbroken if it didn't turn out the way it was supposed to. Besides, I don't want my favorite tv show carrying a message about drugs are bad, stay in school, drive safely, safer sex...etc because I think those topics could really ruin the innocence of Happy Days.
