Default DID FRAN SET THE TREND OF WEARING BLACK OPAQUE TIGHTS?

Hello to all just wondering did Fran set this trend of wearing black opaques?
I mean she looked so sexy wearing them with skirts and mini skirts especially and i noticed in the last 2 years heaps of women wearing them when before they used to just have bare legs.Mind you there is also alot wearing tan pantyhose but that was quite rare with Fran.
Come to Australia and they wear them all the time.lol

Bumping a super old thread but this board needs some life, The Nanny is in reruns constantly.

It always bothered me that all the female characters "cover up" and wear long sleeve leotards underneath their dresses, except for when Fran wears evening gowns. The leotards really throw off some of the outfits. I think that Fran also overdid it with the Vinyl and Latex clothing.

I also have to complain about Mr. Sheffield's suits, there's so much wrong with them. That's for another thread, though.

Fran's legs in Black Whatever are stunning sexy - when she sits on Sheffield's desk is just a lot of OMG legs in the scene LOL - and that scene was repeated SO many times !
