It's too bad about the flimsy cardboard... but at least Green Acres is FINALLY completed on DVD! But here's my question: how is the cardboard in comparison to the "Mister Ed" set?

Exactly the same as Mr. Ed.

To my knowledge, seasons 1-3 are the exact same prints as previously released by MGM because the MGM roaring lion is before every episode which is so annoying.

Don't most rereleases of previous content contain the same exact material. The only time most studios don't go back to source material is when the previous material was either edited or is no longer usable.

I ordered this DVD set today, found a pretty good deal on ebay, 81 dollars and free shipping. Package should arrive in the mail in a week or so, looking forward to it.

Amazon now has the complete series for $82. I believe that's the cheapest they've had it so far.

Yeah I saw that, too. I wanted to buy it but I'm broke until sometime in January (I'm saving money to buy my house).

I'll probably pick it up at Walmart if I can ever get myself over there.

I found it at Walmart (on release day) for $69.96, so I got the same deal as thebigcookie in post #113...

They also had "Mama's Family-The Complete Series" for $39.96, so I picked that up as well...

I haven't been to Walmart in a long time. Hard to believe they have the complete series of GA!!! That's so cool. I'll have to check it out when I'm there. I can't afford it till the end of the year/beginning of next year though.

I've been enjoying my set! Seasons 4-6 are so underrated.

I didn't see the complete set at my Walmart, but they did have season four for $14.99 which I picked up.
