I'm sorry about the problem about leaving a comment. Some people seem to be able to and some don't, so not really sure what is going on. I'll try to get it corrected!!

Also just posted my latest blog article on the disappearance of Joan Gay Croft. Hope you guys enjoy it!

Thanks so much VM!!!

5thcorps I plan on posting another one later in January. I'm working on research now. I have a few "exclusives" coming up involving relatives of a few missing people profiled on UM that rarely, if ever, speak to the media or anyone about their cases but have agreed to speak to me. Stay tuned....

Thanks so much! I would love to dig into that case if I can locate some friends or family members that will talk. I have a feeling there's a lot they're not telling us in that story.

I just posted my latest article. It's an exclusive about Adam Hecht where I had in-depth conversations with 2 of his brothers as well as the Beverly Hills PD. I hope you enjoy it!!

WOW! Nice scoop, CD! I canít believe you were able to talk to the Hechts. That is fantastic. Excellent job!

You definitely paint a more complete picture of Adam. After the UM broadcast I was more inclined to believe that this was a random thing. Like you said in the article, perhaps he was on the street and succumbbed to fall play. But after reading this it seems Adam is struggling with these issues for much longer and that he probably did leave by his own choice. The only part Iím having trouble with is why he wouldnít let his family know he was OK. Youíd think he would get word to them one way or another so that part still bothers me. Great job on the history with this case and helping to paint a better picture of the person that Adam was. Nice to know the rest of the Hechts are still doing well.

Ah.. Starting to read this one now.. This story has been one that has bugged me. So, before I read it.. I've always thought that "Tony" was not directly involved. He didn't kill him, didn't have him killed. I think Tony was mentally deficient, was invited to live with Adam, and didn't think when Adam didn't come back that he wasn't able to remain in his place.

I have maintained that I believe this to be a prime example of someone being misplaced. I think Adam passed away from an OD on the streets, or, perhaps was even attacked and killed. He was not properly identified and became an unclaimed body. I think he's buried in a paupers grave or sitting on a shelf in a coroners office somewhere in Southern California.

So.. Now.. I'm going to start reading the blog..

Yeah.. Doesn't really change my mind. if he disappeared willingly.. After 30 years of there being no trace whatsoever.. I cannot see him being alive. One question.. Where his car was found.. Was it near any form of transportation? Airport? Train Station? That kind of thing?

I don't dismiss the willingly left theory.. But think it'd be awful tough to stay totally hidden this long.

Thanks so much Todd! That means a lot. Yes I was so happy to talk with them and they were so nice! It's always better to know more details and I hate when missing persons only are known for the fact they're missing and who they actually are gets buried.

Harold told me that he loved the article, it was perfect and it brought a tear to his eye (remembering his brother) so that was very powerful.
