Default E.G.O.C

I really liked this one and loved that it focused on Mrs. G! This season her lesser scene appearance makes her sorely missed.

That teacher was an ass but I guess he needed to be written that way to cause her insecurities for the story plot. She obviously knew the Shakespeare content and in the real world would've fit in just fine in that class. I didn't like that he made her feel like a fool in front of the whole class.

Great episode though and i'm glad it ended with her not dropping the course!

Dear Apple was next and I do remember that one, though just bits and pieces of it. I remember the end where Jo's told to end the friendship and for some reason I always remembered Blair saying how she let the shower run for hours, probably because the first time I saw it, I just wondered why on earth would anyone logically do that?! It made no sense to me.

For one, you're wasting your time standing in the bathroom all that time, and two, your water bill is going to skyrocket. That's not revenge lol.

I still like the episode because seeing Blair & Jo fight is always enjoyable.

I totally agree, and I loved the concept of this episode.

My experience is that many college professors in the 1980s/early 1990s were asses. (That definitely has changed).

That part was so sad.

Blair doesn't care about spending money, though.

I don't care for this episode; the sight of a 1980s-era computer talking and responding to Jo, as if it were AI, is ridiculous. The other parts of the episode are fine, and the Blair/Jo fight is done so much better than in "The Rich Aren't Different".

It seems incredibly dated now but back then the talking computers were so futuristic! This was during the era that the Wargames film was such a mega hit and i'm sure that's where they got that plot idea of having the computer talk to Jo.

I'm really looking forward to "The Rich Aren't Different"---that one airs on Thursday.

'The rich aren't different' is definitely worth watching!
You see a real perspective on BLAIR's side: hurt by JO's assumption's that she is only a 'shallow princess', she will go to extreme to prove her wrong, but no SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS for you so you can enjoy watching it!

Thanks....but please no more! That's kind of like a tiny spoiler right there.

But like he said, you've already spoiled it, lol. Let's try to remember he's watching these for the first time in 30 years, so it's like they're brand new episodes to him.

Once we get into the Over Our Heads season, spoilers are ok because I remember those episodes and also caught them on the Decades marathon last year. I didn't catch many of the final season episodes so some of those will be new to me too.
