I never found him funny, and he’s even less so in light of the MeToo movement. The way he repeatedly sexually harassed that cat was unconscionable.

I see Pepe more as a French Stereotype...they've said the French never bathe and most of them are always lovey-dovey and there's a double etrende since Pepe chases a cat...I'll let this be!

But Looney Tunes cartoons weren't meant to be for children anyhow...even Disney cartoons are like that too!

But Pepe le Pew is my 2nd favorite LT/MM Character...Bugs Will Always be #1 in any cartoon form!

Several of the later ones aren't shown on TV anymore. One not shown is a departure from the usual theme (stripe somehow gets painted on cat, and Pepe thinks it's a female skunk)--it's narrated by June Foray, and it's about Fabrette the cat, and June laments Fabrette can't get a boyfriend. I haven't seen it in awhile, but I think she ends up pursuing Pepe, in a total role reversal.

One of the older Pepes, For Scent-imentl Reasons, won an Oscar in 1949. I have collected that one in original form (rather than to more-common Blue Ribbon reissue). Pepe was created by the great Chuck Jones.

Happy 75th!

I even own the Complete Cartoons of pepe le Pew, which include all the 16 cartoons he stars in...as well as "Dog Pounded" where he makes a cameo since he sees Sylvester as a skunk....

"Poor Fabrette. She can't even get a boyfriend." I've tried to figure out why this cartoon (Really Scent) is banned by Cartoon Network(s), and I think it's this line (which isn't an exact quote). I really need to watch this toon again!

I haven't sen Dog Pounded for awhile either. I assume Sylvester somehow got a stripe on his back, too.
