Default Texas Headed Back to Old Normal

Announcement from Gov Abbott today. Good Luck Texas and hoping the covid19 has run it's course and ready to give up.

https://www.dallasnews.com/news/poli...-restrictions/

Show those Left states what is possible and let's watch out for comments from the lefts.

I’m in Texas and I’m scared to go back to the old normal.

May we have a progressive future, because we need it.

Stay masked until the curve flattens no matter what. When in doubt, listen to *real* researchers; not fringe wingnuts.

What are you scared about? If it's about covid, get your immune system strong and you will be good. Otherwise, I don't know what your fear is. My state CA is too too liberal and this covid mess has pushed it even worse by the politics.

No doubt there will be plenty who will wear masks until the cows come home as they have lived with so much fear and have NOT read all the info on the worthless of them in many ways. And these who will continue are ending up with other health issues due to constant mask coverings of mouth and nose.

Medical personnel have been wearing masks for years without health issues, so this argument--like most of your arguments--holds no water.

Yes that is true in operating rooms mostly. And probably in infectious disease areas of hospitals....and dentists as I can recall.

I had a horrible experience where I spent 4.5 months in rehabs with a knee infection and don't recall any of the nurses with a mask. During this period I was also at UCLA for their answers. which turned out they were so negligent in my dx, another hard issue, but none of the docs and nurses who attended me wore masks....None of the CNA and nurses ever wore a mask and I was in 3 rehabs due to the issue I was dealing with. Long story there which I won't go into.

Now on the walls of the rooms there was a sanitizing unit where they all washed their hands.

Late in the process I was wheeled into OR for knee "clean out" and the surgeons/nurses wore a mask.

We in the U.S. are not a masked society, we are not China. People working in the grocery stores and wearing masks all day, NOPE and then the shields added to it all...Fear fear fear from the govt.

Shot: Have you spent time in hospitals and/or rehabs.

Ok all you mask experts...just heard another hour with Dr. Victory and she gets calls from many people with many questions...and one was why docs wear masks in OR and here is what she said and she is a trauma surgeon..

The surgeons wear masks in the OR so that if they cough, or sneeze or spit out snot, this crap from their mouths and noses don't fall into the open wounds of the patients....and the other reason is:

So that the docs don't get splashed with blood from the patient's body.

You all need to visit a hospital and cruise the halls and visit patients and see just how many masks you all find. As I said I spent 4.5 months under hospital and rehab care and did NOT see one mask, except when wheeled down for knee cleaning out in OR.

I sincerely believe that much of the "push" coming out of official channels right now, has more to do with the various government bodies desire to avoid another income tax moratorium like we had last year.THEY WANT THEIR MONEY ASAP!!
