Thanks!

Season 1 was corrected with unedited episodes for the 25th Anniversary complete series set. Somebody should release it separately.

I'm going to get all the Millcreek Roseanne sets, since I now know the edited episodes should be replaced with the original runs, but does anyone know the deal with That 70's Show?

I inquired on that show's thread but no one is discussing it there. I have the entire series by Fox, but I have been led to believe music has been replaced throughout the series. Anyone know if there is any insentive to collect Millcreek's version?

6 years ago I didn't know that the first season of the original Roseanne DVD release was the syndicated version until after I bought it. They have only been released three days and already I have heard two different stories on this product. Some people who bought it say that it is the same edited version all over again and for people not to waste there money on it. Others have said that it is great and the episodes are unedited so I am not sure what to believe. I mean I would like to have the original broadcast episodes but I don't want to waste my money if all they are the same old edited ones. Can someone help me?

I haven't heard that they were edited, like the Anchor Bay releases. Where did you hear that from?

Also, the guy/girl that runs this website/forum has reviewed both seasons 1 and 2 from Mill Creek, and he/she said that they are definitely unedited.

Amazon.com I shop on there occasionally and I was checking out some of the reviews of people who have purchased this product that is what some of them claimed.

Oh, those reviews on Amazon are actually of the original Anchor Bay "Roseanne" releases, not the new re-releases from MIll Creek Entertainment.

For some reason, the older reviews carried over into the page for the new Mill Creek DVDs.

So the new Mill Creek DVDs are, in fact, unedited and uncut.

(I'm still desperately searching someone to make copies of the Target exclusive "Roseanne: Road Trips" bonus disc.)

I just bought season 1. The first episode runs to 25:41.

I don't like these sleeves, so I just ordered a 3-DVD case from here:

I put the new DVDs in the anchor bay sleeves. The Anchor Bay DVDs I put in the Mill Creek sleeves.

The above seller was out of stock, so I ordered these other cases from this other vendor instead:

They just arrived, and they are great!

Didnt even know there was a longer version of the pilot intro, on the australian (and german I think) DVDs the shorter 40 second version is used, and the beginning of the scene where DJ eats the pie isnt included, it starts when Roseanne walks into the living room to confront him.

Ooh an update. "Workin Overtime" IS edited compared to the australian release.

When Dan and Roseanne are in bed struggling to get up, dan sleepily mutter "let the kids do it, theyre younger". On the new R1 DVD it then cuts to Dan jumping up and DJ running in. On the australian DVD, Roseanne picks up the phone and calls Jackie, asks her to call back, put the phone next to Dan's head and it starts ringing. She answers and puts the phone back. THEN it cuts to Dan jumping up. About 35 seconds missing. Amazing.. it seems there will never be a perfect season 1 release

23:48 on the new american DVD, 24:29 on the australian DVD (add a few seconds for the Viacom logo at the end)
