Default Which 1960s Sitcom, Complete on DVD...

Is your favorite?

I took some liberties by adding H.R. Pufnstuf and Scooby-Doo. But as I've stated in the past, because they have a laugh track, to me, it seems like a sitcom.

Also, I know The Jetsons isn't technically complete on DVD, however, the remaining seasons were in the 1980s. So, to me, it's complete, since this is a 1960s poll.

Also, I went ahead and included The Andy Griffith Show, since it will be complete in a couple weeks.

The Andy Griffith Show (1960-1968)
The Dick Van Dyke Show (1961-1966)
The Flintstones (1960-1966)
Get Smart (1965-1970)
Gidget (1965-1966)
Gilligan's Island (1964-1967)
Good Morning World (1967-1968)
H.R. Pufnstuf (1969-1970)
The Jetsons (1962-1963)
The Monkees (1966-1968)
The Munsters (1964-1966)
Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! (1969-1970)
Top Cat (1961-1962)

Wow that's a really close one. I have to go with DICK VAN DYKE, though... it was probably the most perfectly written show of the time with precise timing and the lines flowed out of the actor's mouths like poetry. Very close is GI, TAGS, GS, The Munsters, and of course the Flintstones.

I went with Get Smart. Even though I like all of those shows. After watching a bunch of episodes of Get Smart, I'm realizing what a classic it really is. So while I like all the shows listed, Get Smart is a peg ahead of the rest (in my opinion).

Once Warner Bros finishes up F Troop, by releasing the second (and final) season, then that will be my favorite. That was a show I hated as a kid, when it aired on N@N. And now, thanks to the DVD, I love it!
