I highly doubt that's the schedule. Seems completely bogus to me.

High School Reunion could do good again, but look at SGTL. It did well in its first season, and came back this year and now its doing poorly. The same thing could happen to HSR. You just can't depend on any show to do well on TV Land anymore.

LOL, that stuff is bogus, just as I said there. It makes about as much sense as Nick at Nite airing Patty Duke.

Julie, why do you think they will renew The Jeffersons? It did about the same as Green Acres I think. 9am-1pm wouldn't be changing if it wasn't going. Both shows seemed to do about the same, with Acres doing a little better it seems. It actually maintained some decent timeslots longer.

That schedule is bogus and I would never release a schedule to anyone like that. Big time lie right there. I hope someone over there says that I said no such thing (and that schedule is way off).

It seemed to me like The Jeffersons was always the better performing show. For one, Green Acres never aired consistently, while The Jeffersons aired in that 10am slot for over a year. It must have been performing moderately well there for it to air so long, especially on a network like TV Land-lol.

Or, both could not be renewed. I guess we'll see today with that schedule.

If this ever happens again, assume it is false. Unless there is a direct link to us, it is not true. We will only post the schedules here on the message board, blog or Twitter. The only three ways we release stuff.

It seemed a little whack to me, but given the direction TV Land is going in, I wouldn't have been surprised if it was close to accurate. Nonetheless, its a breath of fresh air, to know that schedule is someones sick little joke. I apologize for any misunderstanding, angst, etc. and will go put a dunce cap on in the corner.

Someone, presumably from this website took care of it.

I figured that schedule was fake because it just wasn't a reliable source or a way that it's always released.

About the original programming: Honestly, I wish they'd get rid of all of it. Years ago TV Land was much stronger than they are now and they didn't have any original programming back then. They really should go back to their roots.

I responded to that days ago and said it wasn't correct.

I don't think they are going to renew any show that isn't serving the network a purpose (Green Acres, The Jeffersons). They can easily do All in the Family 9-10, The Jeffersons 10-11, then Good Times 11-12 and probably get the same ratings. Then again, they renewed Leave it to Beaver, but I'm sure it probably does better than those 2.

Pav, you should try to convince TV Land to impose your great idea of classic from 6AM-6PM and then more modern shows for the remainder of the day.

Did you misunderstand me? I meant that someone from this website went over to the TV Land boards in addition to cj2 and said that the info was false. I wasn't talking about someone from this website releasing that bogus schedule.

I don't want any trouble man...

If I were them, I would do this weekday mornings in September, and have a decent variety of classic sitcoms from the 70s and 50s/60s, since they don't seem interested in airing them anymore after early afternoons:

9:00AM All in the Family
9:30AM Good Times
10:00AM Sanford and Son
10:30AM Sanford and Son
11:00AM Andy Griffith Show
11:30AM Andy Griffith Show
12:00PM Leave it to Beaver
12:30PM Hogan's Heroes

and keep The Beverly Hillbillies 1pm-2pm. I would have weekend "Classic TV Land" marathons run weekends from 8am-8pm, with one show from 8am-2pm and another one from 2pm-8pm each weekend. Rotate marathons of Hogan's Heroes, The Beverly Hillbillies, and Good Times in the morning/early afternoon then Andy Griffith, Leave it to Beaver, and Sanford and Son from 2pm-8pm.
