Or maybe they want newer shows at night, but just don't have many now so they are using Cosby and Roseanne and tossing ratings for demos. Still don't understand why MWC is leaving when it does well.

Let me just add, I hate that blue 'ticker' they use in place of the credits on Andy Griffith, Hillbillies, Married, and Leave it to Beaver to name a few. I wonder why they leave the closing credits intact for some shows (Good Times, LHOTP, Green Acres) but not others?
TV Land goes after women 40-55, right? I can definitely see Roseanne getting most of its viewers with that demo. That has to be the only reason Roseanne is one so much - total viewers wise, it's only doing modestly, but demo wise, its a very strong performer.

Perhaps TV Land has just given up on bringing viewers in, which is understandable, so now they're going after the demo.

MWC just started at 12:20am *sigh*

I am so done with this channel once they get through all the Roseanne episodes.

They went off the clock at 9pm. Somebody at the TV Land boards said MWC started at 11:45pm or something. How did they air 4 M*A*S*H episodes inbetween 10:07PM and 11:45PM? Seems to me like it was probably 3 episodes instead.

I don't think they ever came out and said they wanted women 40-55 Julie but that's what it looks like with shows like Cougar, SGTL, How'd You Get So Rich, etc.

This channel will be off the air soon at this rate. There is no consistency or coherence to the schedule at all

They didn't, only three were listed on TV Land's schedule.

I think they play the games with the closing credits on their long-term shows, beacuse it has to cost them $ to do this, whether it's done in-house or by contract. It used to replace the credit crunch to get in their promos. Now, I think it's to gain 30 more seconds of ad time.

I noticed yesterday, that the start and end times for off-the-clock programming are listed in my IPG.

Does anyone want to take a stab as to what TV Land will probably do on and after 7/13? I think it will stay the same, except maybe some of that Roseanne cut down. I don't get why we aren't seeing Home Improvement. God, they could air 3rd Rock From the Sun from 3-4am or SOMETHING other than Roseanne!! I don't think 3rd Rock did that badly..

Weekends will probably be Beaver, Andy, and Hogan's Heroes marathons from 12pm-10pm (divided, with Andy probably 5pm-10pm). I think they'll keep the "Classic Marathons" on the weekends for now at least. I think they're wanting to air shows that don't have a place on the regular schedule then. They should do a farewell for The Jeffersons and Green Acres I think in August (I still say they won't be renewed) but I think Acres is done completely.

I just noticed the week of July 13th is now out. The only change I see is on Mondays replacing the MWC marathon is now a movie/special type thing(History of the World Part 1 on the 6th and Doc Hollywood on the 13th), with Roseanne starting after it at 10 or 10:30. Saturday the 18th is Brady Bunch/Andy and the 19th is Bonanza/Andy, with Cosby/Roseanne late on Saturday and the AFI awards on the 19th.

Now... July 13th IS over 2 weeks away so I'm sure this will change wildly. LOL

Do you know the fate yet of the three sitcoms expiring at the end of August? I am 90% sure they probably won't be renewed.

I like the Sanford and Son marathon but 7/19 is a BORE!! I wish they would do more marathons of shows that aren't airing on weekends. Star Trek, Hogan's Heroes, Green Acres, and Leave it to Beaver are just sitting. Those westerns and The Jeffersons get decent airings every weekday.

I agree Brent, National Lampoon again??? They are becoming more dependent on movies in prime-time since their shows don't seem to be working.
