I made a comment over on the general sitcom board that was deemed inappropriate since it was kind of political and got scolded by the mod. So I brought the comment over to politics and holy crap it's a war zone over there...I tried for a while, but wound up fleeing for the hills from all the hostility. I learned the hard way it's not for me!

I much prefer keeping it light and fun!!

Then don't bother visiting the Bewitched forum. There's a guy there, posting from multiple accounts, posting vile stuff about Dick York and posting edited clips of Elizabeth Montgomery praising only Dick Sargeant.

I was there recently because I LOVE Bewitched and also Elizabeth Montgomery, and I saw that whole thread. It's a shame there are people like that. All those stars have passed on so it's really just pointless speculation in the end.

Just talk about the show and the characters that we all love. Since the actors who portrayed them can't validate or refute anything, why bother nit picking about them like that?! I don't get it.

Yeah, it doesn't make any sense. But it's not just one thread; there are more than 50 threads with the same crazy allegations.

Me too!

That's why I get so discouraged when I run into disagreements around here. The last thing I wanna do when talking about my favorite shows is to run across disagreements that spoil the fun. But oh well---it's a "fact of life"!

(I just try focusing on the fun agreeable stuff, lol)

Why is there a politics board on a tv pop culture site?

That horrible thread was there before Christmas. I can't believe it's still active!

That guy will not stop. They suspended his account, so he opened a new account.

It's part of the chit chat boards. Man back in the day when these message boards first started, it was hopping over there. TJ, the creator of this site, tried to provide all the areas of discussion that you would find on other hit sites like the IMDb boards or reddit. The random board was fun. Clicks of friends from the popular show boards would go start a random thread where they discuss anything. Back then The Facts of Life, Happy Days, and Three's Company were the boards that had a lot of members become friends and do their usual random chat on how things were going or talk about other areas of interest. It was a lot of fun back in the beginning. Those were the days

I remember those days---this whole website was hopping! It was streaming with topics all the time on most of the show boards...all the excitement of a fresh, fun new place to talk about your favorite TV shows!
