I used to have a tablet made by Barnes & Noble, until throwing it out due to the battery getting really hot.

^ It seems several laptops & tablets had battery issues where the batteries got too hot. So far mine is doing fine.

That's good to hear. If only I didn’t throw mine out, could've gotten a new battery.

I stopped over at GameStop and spotted a collection of horror-themed playing cards. They had Texas Chainsaw, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street and Beetlejuice.

I picked up the TCM deck and will go back for the rest at some point.

^ Yeah I have the Kindle app on my tablet and get my e-books through Amazon and my local library. But with the library, they don't have many of the books I want to read and when I do find something they put me on a waiting list, it's a hassle but it's free.

I bought a Mocha from Starbucks. I love them but they're expensive so I only buy them a few times a month.

My local library offers that kind of stuff as well. I haven't been back to mine in a really long time though, but should because they have new services now apparently.

But I have a NOOK made by Barnes & Noble instead of a Kindle.

Okay, I had no idea about this and now I'm jealous, lol. I'll have to see if I can stop in at one of the locations soon to see if they have them here.
