Default AmericanLife TV April 2007 Highlights

AmericanLife TV Network, the only independent network devoted to the Baby Boomer spring with a bevy of April beauties, including a star-studded new episode of the healthy lifestyle series Alive & Well, a special hour-long episode of ‘Til Debt Do Us Part helping engaged couples out of debt, the premiere episodes of F Troop and Homefront, guest star turns by Star Trek’s Scotty and Sulu on The Gallant Men, and appearances by the likes of Sal Mineo on Combat!, and Boris Karloff and Peter Lawford on I Spy.

Saturday, April 7
* Alive & Well ( 6 p.m. ET ; 3 p.m. PT ): It’s showbiz time as host Michelle Harris visits the set of VH-1’s Celebrity Fit Club - guests include The Brady Bunch’s Maureen McCormick, Letters From Iwo Jima’s Jeremy Glazer, the singer Tiffany, Ross the Intern from The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Celebrity Fit Club’s own Harvey Walden. With $15,000 up for grabs, three couples complete some of the biggest challenges ever in their quest to become financially solvent before their wedding day.

The American Soldier holds forth Tuesdays on American Life, featuring weekly showings of the World War II dramas Combat! ( 8-9 p.m. ET/PT) and The Gallant Men (10-11 p.m. ET/PT) - while the comic side of military life flourishes on Saturday’s F Troop ( 9-9:30 p.m. ET/PT).

Tuesdays, April 10 and April 17
* The Gallant Men: Star Trek’s Scotty, James Doohan, guests on April 10, and then his shipmate Sulu, George Takei, shows up the following week in “One Puka Puka,” featuring a World War II unit of happy heroes inspired by comic book characters.

Saturday, April 21
* F Troop: The premiere episode shows how Private Wilton Parmenter (Ken Berry) became Fort Courage ’s commanding officer.

Tuesday, April 24
* Combat!: Sal Mineo and Tom Skerrit guest on “Nothing to Lose,” as a young GI gets ridiculed for his city-street toughness and disregard for danger.

Sundays on AmericanLife TV celebrate the American Family with Homefront ( 10-11 p.m. ET/PT) and I’ll Fly Away (9-10 p.m. ET/PT), both of which offer plenty of April highlights.

Sunday, April 1
