Default Netflix pulls a episode in Turkey in response to the government's demand

The streaming service said it complied with Turkey's censor board demand that a Season 2 episode of Designated Survivor be pulled because it depicted a fictitious Turkish president as its antagonist. The episode originally aired on ABC in November 2017, with Turkish-American actor Troy Caylak as Turkish President Fatih Turan. "Following a demand from the Turkish regulator, we have removed one episode of Designated Survivor from Netflix in Turkey only, to comply with local law, Netflix said in a statement. The episode remains on the streaming service in other countries. In February, Netflix revealed nine times it has removed shows in compliance with local governments, most famously when an episode of Patriot Act With Hasan Minhaj was removed from Saudi Arabia at the government's request.
