Cheyenne Jackson celebrates his 43rd today. Born in Spokane, WA, Jackson made his feature film debut in the role of Mark Bingham in United 93. He has gone on to star in films such as The Green and Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks, and was part of the ensemble cast of the film of the musical Hello Again. On television, Jackson is well known to fans of American Horror Story, as he was a regular on seasons 5-7 of the anthology horror series, and has been confirmed as part of the season 8 cast. Jackson has also had success as a traditional pop/vocal jazz singer, particularly in his album The Power of Two, a collaboration with Michael Feinstein.

Jackson is best known for his stage career. After working for a time in regional theater, he made his Broadway debut in the ensemble of the musical Thoroughly Modern Millie in 2002, and then appeared as a replacement in the role of Radames in the musical Aida. Jackson then starred in the original productions of the musicals All Shook Up and Xanadu, and more recently in the premiere of David West Readís play The Performers. He has starred a couple of characters named Joe, in City Center Encores! productions of the musicals Damn Yankees and The Most Happy Fella. One of Jacksonís best known stage roles was as Woody Mahoney in Finianís Rainbow, both in a City Center Encores! production in 2008, and in a Broadway revival a year later.
