I wonder if there were any similar cases in the Florida area a year before/after her disappearance? Could be the work of either a one time rapist/murderer, or a serial killer. I wonder if police ever looked into Oba Chandler's whereabouts in August 1992.

But wasn't he more the type of guy that liked to cat and mouse the women he killed? Look at all the trouble he went to to get the girls and the mother onto his boat. I think he liked to draw it out, savour it, and then to pounce. He could have found easier prey if he was just out to kill.
