I'm afraid this original class will be aired in low publicity because, right after the 20th Anniversary Reunion incident, the brawl, between normal fans and mental disabled fans, cannot end at all.

The mental disabled fans of the original class do not like the original class continuing its appraisal because they appraised too much difficulty too fast at the same time.

It was largely popular back in 1991 and 1992, but now it will not get some more popularity.

The normal fans were supporting Zack, Kelly, Slater, Lisa and Jessie.

The mental disabled fans were supporting Screech.

If the original class has to be that difficult, then Screech should not have been included in the original class too soon.

If they include Screech in it to make it more popular, then the original class should not be made difficult at all.

If Saved By The Bell wants to continue getting entering syndication, then this syndication channel has to be a low-public type, IMO.

I remember watching SBTB reruns on WGN (well before it was WGN America, back when most of the Chicago programming was shown nationally) after school. I think it aired around 3:30, so 2:30 in Chicago.

It truly was. Around this time, Saved By the Bell was airing new episodes and reruns. And Saved By the Bell: The New Class and Saved By the Bell: The College Years would be added in 1993, while the original series was still airing in syndication. Add to that a few knock-off shows that were similar (California Dreams, Hang Time, Running the Halls, Hey Dude, etc), and you're talking an entire Peter Engel empire.

In the mid-1990s, TBS aired two or four episodes back-to-back Monday through Friday. At the same time, it was being shown on local stations. It was everywhere.

I used to be a fan of SBTB, but now I retired from watching all SBTB class shows, including the original one. I am currently a fan of Hang Time right now. You might think Hang Time will not beat the original class, but I prefer Hang Time instead, unfortunately.

I remember when it came to weekday on WFTS 28 in 1991...but it aired at 5am E/T in the morning!!! I'd catch it in the mornings and then catch it on WGN 9 at 3:30pm E/T and then again at 6:30 pm E/T. Then what WGN would do is air Bayside eps on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays while airing Miss Bliss eps on Tuesdays. Then the next year, my local station WFTS 28 began airing it at 5pm in the afternoons, then four months later, TBS picked up the series as well and it aired on TBS until 2013 (or 2012, I think).

Yeah I call those the peak years, and the reruns were on all the time, since I didn't know about the Miss Bliss episodes I kept thinking who this lady was anyway?

Variety has announced today that “Saved by the Bell” will be launched into syndication by the recently-formed production-sales firm Rysher Entertainment this Fall, while finishing out its last season on the network. According to John Agoglia, president of NBC Enterprises and executive vice president of NBC Productions, “Bell”’s ratings were strong enough to qualify for syndication.

Production will begin in early July on the final 33 episodes. That will bring the tally to 88 episodes at the end of the season, since “Good Morning, Miss Bliss” is going to be included in the syndication package.

“If it plays well, we may have found a nice little business here,” Keith Samples (Rysher’s president) says.

1992 is around the time that I started getting into the show and I turned ten that year. I remember flipping back and forth from TBS and WGN because the show was on them two stations at the same time. :) :) :)

He might have said that, but having watched the entire original run, I don't agree. SBTB was a hit almost immediately, at least among people my age and I was 11 at the time it debuted in the late summer of 1989. Virtually everybody I knew watched, and I remember many of us being disappointed that there were so few episodes in the first few seasons.

Saved by the Bell only had four seasons and produced about 86 episodes. And yet, they were able to stretch it out to six seasons by adding Good Morning, Miss Bliss (after those episodes were retrofitted to air in syndication) and Saved by the Bell: The College Years to the syndication package. Not to mention the movies (Hawaiian Style and Wedding in Las Vegas and then, The New Class.

None of the stars like Tiffani-Amber Thiessen apparently, made any real money (https://www.lipstickalley.com/threads/i-never-understood-the-faux-outrage-about-judy-winslow-being-sent-upstairs-jamie-fired.6096711/post-114574928) on SBTB, despite how popular as it was. Otherwise, the cast would have to be paid bonuses once they reached 100 episodes. Instead, GMMB and TCY were like I said, repurposed into the entire SBTB package to meet the 100 episode minimum and sell the show into syndication without having to pay the actors.
