Judge Judy is going to back to WCBS - 99.9% sure 4-5PM.
Joe Brown is staying on WNBC and airing at noon I believe.
Martha Stewart is moving to 10AM on WNBC. I am not sure what's airing at 11AM now.

And finally, People'e Court will air at 4PM on WNYW (same time as it airs right now on WCBS).

As for WLNY, I am sure Ellen will have to move times now that it will air on WNBC at 4PM.

Alot has changed in the past year for Sacramento and Fresno markets. KOVR which originally was a Sinclair station was sold to CBS last year and in part their whole news staff was overhauled as well as it's news set which IMO is one of the best news sets I've ever seen. In addition On July 11th KOVR CBS 13 which had Jerry Springer and Maury from 3-5 PM weekdays and also being one of the 2 stations not to air Guiding Light at all (The other being WNEM-TV in Lansing, MI) dropped Maury to it's sister station KMAX at 11 AM and began airing a 4-5 PM newscast. Jerry will begin to air on KTXL-TV September 11th. Starting August 27th, KOVR will start airing it's weekend programming 1 hr earlier as it does on weeknights. This means that KOVR will be the only station on the west coast to have it's programming identical to Mountain time zone which starts at 7 PM and has their newscasts at 10 PM. This practice has continued with KOVR since it swapped ABC with CBS in March of 1995 with rival station KXTV channel 10 ABC (Home of the Sacramento Kings and Monarchs). CBS 13 newscasts is #1 at 10 PM and another reason why KOVR airs it's newscasts at 10 PM is because they don't want to compete with news leader KCRA-TV. KOVR shares it's studios with KMAX-TV in West Sacramento when it moved from 500 Media Place into their studios since this past May.

In Fresno, KFRE began airing a 11 PM newscast on January 10th produced by sister station KMPH.

BTW pavan, since WNBC still airs Enterprise late Sundays at 12:35 AM as well as on KNBC LA at 12:05 AM do you see any change for their timeslots since out here KMAX airs Enterprise Saturdays at 5 PM and Sundays at 11 PM and KAIL airs the show at 12 PM and 7 PM Saturdays or will it still air in it's current late night positions since I do like seeing Scotty Bakula and co on the weekends?

In addition KOVR acquired THe Shield since on August 27th, KOVR's CBS lineup will air 1 hr earlier on weekends meaning 60 minutes, which aired at 7 PM PT will now air at 6 PM as well as their programming is coinciding with their #1 10 PM hour long newscast. Followed immediately by CBS 13 Sports Zone at 11 PM and then The Shield at 11:35 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.

I don't have WWOR/WNYW fall yet. They both start their fall skeds on Sept. 11 (and more changes on Sept. 18 I bet).

But starting Sept. 5, some changes:
WWOR
9:00AM The People's Court
11:00AM The Parkers
11:30AM The Parkers
3:00PM Family Feud
3:30PM Family Feud

WNYW, starting Sept. 4
4:00PM The People's Court

Week of Sept. 5 from 7:30AM-8:30AM various sitcoms will air because of pre-emptions from the Jerry Lewis telethon on Sept. 4, like Charles in Charge, The Nanny, Cosby Show and Mad About You. Charles in Charge is gone after that airing (at least the rest of the week). No sign of Coach at all this week.
Sept. 5 - 7a Safari Tracks, 7:30a Animal Atlas, 8a Yes Dear, 8:30a Judge Hatchett
Sept. 6 - 7a National Geographic, 7:30a Charles in Charge, 8a Yes Dear, 8:30a Judge Hatchett
Sept. 7 - 7a Awesome Adventures, 7:30a Cosby Show, 8a The Nanny, 8:30a Judge Hatchett
Sept. 8 - 7a Wild AboutAnimals, 7:30a Cosby Show, 8a Mad About You, 8:30a Judge Hatchett
Then starting Sept. 11 normal schedule is back:
7a DiC Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century, 7:30a DiC Archie's Weird Mysteries, 8a Judge Alex, 8:30a Judge Hatchett

Coming week of Sept. 11 to WNYW/WWOR: Still Standing (WWOR), Cristina's Court (WNYW), and Dr. Keith Ablow (both?), so many changes will come I'm sure.
The Parkers, The Nanny, Mad About You are leaving this fall I think. And possibly the Cosby Show hour? Right JTC? That will leave a lot of holes for WWOR to put these shows in. Since they also have One on One and Scrubs coming the week of the 18th.

That sounds right. The Parkers was a 3 year deal and this is it. I guess stations can pay cash for it but that's unlikely. I think the Cosby Show hour is still around for the fall but there are no guarantees WWOR bought it. Yes, Dear might be leaving since their deal was originally 2 years but it might have been extended - I am not really sure.

But what is happening to other stations are they still carrying JSM and Drew? And when will they expire?

Both of these shows (especially Drew Carey) have been in syndication for a while, so it is very likely that either one or both of their contracts are expiring.

I don't know a tremendous amount about this, but I do know that shows are sold in to syndication for certain amounts of time. This time is called a cycle. Many shows only last one cycle but others that are very successful (ie. Seinfeld, Friends, Raymond, etc) have second, third or fifth cycles. Drew Carey is probably finishing up its first cycle and there probably isn't a second cycle because it doesn't do that well anymore and there wouldn't be much interest in it.

However, many shows are available to stations on a "cash only" basis which means they can pay for the rights to air a show and all the advertising is sold by the stations. The shows don't come with built-in advertisements, so the stations can sell their own ads for the entire length of commercial breaks. This could happen with Drew Carey in some markets. To be honest, I am not really sure as this info is rarely released to the public.

Pavanbadal probably knows more about this than me, so he will explain further I am sure.

PS One more quick thing. As many of you realize, the number of quality sitcoms has been decreasing in recent years. This means that shows that are in syndication now like Seinfeld will likely remain there for many years to come. You can see this when Two and a Half Men, which is the highest comedy on TV right now, got big money from Tribune and then FX. A show like The King of Queens, which is a solid performer in syndication (but certainly no Seinfeld or Raymond), just had many stations sign on for a 2nd cycle which won't begin until like 2009.

Week of Sept. 5 from 7:30AM-8:30AM various sitcoms will air because of pre-emptions from the Jerry Lewis telethon on Sept. 4,

Where can we view schedules this far in advance for our local stations? I know TiVo's site used to go three to four weeks in advance, but that ended when they changed the site early in the year.

Oh, I see. I spoke with the local programmer and they said that JSM though was supposed to be contracted through next March will be pulled from My45 come September 18th for One on One which will take JSM's 9 AM timeslot folowed by Becker. For Frasier, I've heard it will last until March 2011.

The original Star Trek is coming to WNBC Sunday nights at 3:30am replacing Star Trek: Enterprise starting Sept. 17.

So what does that mean? Will Enterprise be gone in NYC, moved to another station, or will it be gone everywhere since I've watched the show many times the past year and all they showed were season 4 episodes. They haven't gotten to season3 and they only aired a few episodes of season 2.

Beakman's World returns to syndication this fall, it will air on WNYW Saturdays 12-1PM starting Sept. 23.

Still don't know stuff for WCBS. They will be adding CSI: Miami and Without a Trace, but times not known yet.

KQCA-TV My58 will also follow the practice with their dramas from 7-9 PM and Oprah from 9-10 PM leading to My58 News at 10 PM produced by the #1 News station KCRA-TV Where The News Comes First!
