What's Happening!! was one of my favorite shows
growing up. This set brought back a lot of memories.
I saw scenes I had never seen before, since in
syndication they usually chop a few minutes off in
each episode. I got my copy from Time Life in the
summer and was impressed by the video and audio. It
was very clear and much better than the version on tv,
obviously. The only problem with this set is that it
has no extras--it would have been great to see Fred
and the rest of the cast share their memories from the
show. Or atleast add the CBS Early Show interview the
cast did a few years ago. This set should be bought by
every fan and should be dedicated to the late Fred
Berry. We miss you Fred (and we haven't forgot
Shirley and Mama too).
