(see this users gallery) Anthony Tyler Quinn stars as both womanizing, recently-fired sports columnist Jack Cody and his recently-hired, beloved alter ego, advice columnist Sylvia Coco, in Columbia TriStar Television's half-hour comedy ASK HARRIET.
For the past three seasons, Quinn starred on the hit ABC TGIF comedy series "Boy Meets World" as motorcycle-riding English teacher Jonathan Turner. Born in New London, Conn., and raised in Rockford, Ill., he is not related to the legendary Anthony Quinn, but was named after him because the Oscar® winner was one of his mother's favorite actors. Quinn moved to Los Angeles when he was 19 to pursue acting, and began to make a name for himself in several television roles, starting with a one-line part in the telefilm "Flight 90: Disaster on the Potomac."
He was a series regular in the sitcoms "Someone Like Me," "Frannie's Turn" and "Working Girl," also starring Sandra Bullock, and had recurring roles in the action series "Air Wolf" and the daytime drama "Capitol."
As a guest star, he has been on "Melrose Place," "Sliders" and "Family Ties." Quinn has also been featured in the telefilms "A.C.E.S.," "The Chase," "Peyton Place" and "Good Night, Sweet Wife," and in the feature film "Flying Blind."
Quinn is married to his high school sweetheart. The couple have a daughter and live in Los Angeles. |
