Willie Garson stars as Ron Rendall, Jack Cody's trusted best friend and colleague in Columbia TriStar Television's half-hour comedy series ASK HARRIET.

A native of New Brunswick, N.J., Garson auditioned for the Off-Broadway play "The Winslow Boy" when he was 13, and won the role of understudy, which attracted an agent's attention. After graduating from Wesleyan University, Garson moved to Los Angeles to sell the film rights to a novel he had optioned and, landing a guest-starring role on a sitcom, stayed.

Most recently, Garson has had a trio of memorable recurring roles: portraying Henry Coffield on "N.Y.P.D. Blue," Dr. Mosley on "Melrose Place" and Frank Shea on "The Practice" and "Ally McBeal." Garson has guest-starred on more than 200 series including "Mad About You," "Touched by an Angel" and "The X-Files."

He has also been seen in such films as "The Rock," "Mars Attacks," "Groundhog Day," "Soapdish," "Untamed Heart," and portrayed Lee Harvey Oswald in "Ruby." Next, he will be seen in "The Kiss" with Holly Hunter.

On stage, Garson has been featured in "The Crackwalker," "The Heart Outright" and "Topics of Our Time," and other productions of Los Angeles' The Hidden Theatre Company and New York's Naked Angels Theatre Company.

He is single and lives in Los Angeles.
