(see this users gallery) JOHN ALES
as "Genie"
With twisted wit and a fiery gleam in his eye, John Ales brings an unstoppable energy to his work. Having studied at Rutgers Professional Actor' s Training Program, John' s goal is to maintain a level of integrity in his approach to the craft of acting. Since graduation from the conservatory, he has continued to distinguish himself in feature films and in television.
While working on stage in New York, John landed the role of every trained actor' s dreams -- the host of MTV' s ACE Award-winning game show, "Lip Service." "Deep inside," he explains wryly, "I knew there was an emcee lurking about."
MTV agreed. He spent two years appearing daily on the network, hosting not only his show but also countless other MTV shifts, including "Top Twenty Countdown" and "Alternative Nation"; and was a Beach House staple on its first two "Summer Smashes."
While still buzzing away at MTV, John began co-starring with Dabney Coleman on the highly rated television comedy, "Madman of the People," portraying Dylan, the Madman' s slacker-savant son.
He spent the following summer appearing as Professor Klump' s eager confidant, Jason -- better known as "Hamster Boy" -- in the smash comedy, "The Nutty Professor." He can also be seen tearing up the pavement in Leslie Nielsen' s "Spy Hard" as the outrageous Greek covert operations agent, Kabul.
John currently resides in Los Angeles. |
