JEAN SMART

Jean Smart is well-known to television audiences for her role as Charlene in the hit CBS series Designing Women. She also appeared in the comedy series High Society and in the television movies A Stranger in Town, Overkill, The Yearling, A Seduction in Travis County and the mini-series Scarlett.
Her feature film credits include The Brady Bunch, Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey, Mistress, Flashpoint, Protocol, Project X and Fire With Fire.
Smart has also worked extensively in theater, recently appearing Off-Broadway in Nicky Silver's Fit to be Tied and in the Los Angeles production of Marvin's Room with Mary Steenburgen. She received a Drama Desk Award nomination for her role in the Off-Broadway production of Last Summer at Bluefish Cove and the Los Angeles Drama Critics Award for the L.A. production.
Her birth date is September 13.
