Just For Kicks aired from April until August 2006 on Nickelodeon
Short-lived inspiring series about a multicultural girls' soccer team, The Power Strikers, at the upscale Brokwell prep school in New York City. Vida ( Jessica Williams) was a tall African-American girl with a big mouth, a great athlete who loved soccer; Freddie ( Mallory Low ), a chubby Asian from a military family; Lauren ( Katija Pevec), a smart but shy girl overloaded with extracurricular activities by her ambitious parents; and Alexa ( Francesca Catalano), a former cheerleader shunned by her popular friends for mixing with the " outsiders" on the low-class soccer team. Chris ( Jerad Anderson ) was Alexa's dreamboat brother , on whom Lauren had a crush, and Mr. Moore ( Craig Robert Young), the British coach who encouraged them. They all dated, squabbled, hung out at The Attitude Cafe and learned about each other's differences.
