Ivan The Terrible aired from August until September 1976 on CBS.
Ivan ( Lou Jacobi), was the head waiter at the Hotel Metropole in contemporary Moscow in this 5 week summer mini-series. His biggest problem was the congestion in his 31/2 room apartment, inhabited by 9 people and a ferocious, but unseen dog named Rasputin. Living with Ivan were his wife Olga ( Maria Karnilova); their children, Sonya( Caroline Kava), Nikolai ( Alan Cauldwell), and Sascha ( Matthew Barry); Olga's first husband, Vladimir ( Phil Leeds), and her mother Tatiana( Despo).
Also in the household were Nikolai's wife Svetlana( Nana Tucker), and a cuban named Raoul ( Manuel Martinez). Christopher Hewitt ( Later star of Mr. Belvedere) also appeared as Federov.
All of them except Sascha and Raoul had various jobs in Moscow.
