Karen aired from January until June 1975 on ABC.


This contemporary situation comedy centered around Karen Angelo ( Karen Valentine), a single, bright, involved young woman who worked for a citizens' action organization called Open America, headquartered in Washington, D.C. Helping Karen uncover crooked politicians and lobby for citizens' legislation were crusty Dale Busch ( Charles Lane. Denver Pyle played Dale Busch in the first episode), who was the founder of Open America; Dena ( Dena Dietrich), the group's cynical office manager; Adam ( Will Seltzer), a young student working for the organization; and Cissy ( Aldine King), Karen's roommate.Jerry and Cheryl ( Oliver Clark, Alix Elias)were Karen's neighbors in Georgetown.


Executive Producers Gene Reynolds and Larry Gelbert ( Producers of MASH)for 20th Century Fox.
