Professional Father aired from January until July 1955 on CBS.
Tom Wilson ( Steve Dunne) was a highly successful child psychologist. At the office he spoke with the wisdom of Solomon as he resolved family problems that were causing aggravation and suffering to the many parents who sought his services. At home, however, it was a completely different story. All the good judgement and analytical skills that had made him so proficient at his profession deserted him when he tried to cope with his own family.
The rest of the cast included Barbara Billingsley as his wife Barbara; Ted Marc as his son Thomas Jr ( Twig); Beverly Washburn as his daughter Kathryn ( Kit); Phyllis Coates as Nurse Madge Allen; and Ann O'Neal as Nana.
