(see this users gallery) The New Phil Silvers Show aired from September 1963 until June 1964 on CBS.
The character played by Phil Silvers in his second series was similar to Sgt. Ernie Bilko in the original Phil Silvers Show, with one exception-Harry was a civilian. He was the maintenance superintendent of Osbourne Industries, a small manufacturing company whose products changed from episode to episode, to suit the plot. Harry was a small time swindler and office con-artist. He would do almost anything to avoid real work, and managed to find angles to provide himself with a little something extra from each job that he and his crew worked on. The boss, Mr. Brink, could only look on helplessly.
The cast also included Stafford Repp as Harry's boss Mr. Brink; Jim Shane as Lester; Herbie Faye ( who had also played one of the enlistees on The Phil Silvers Show) as Waluska; Steve Mitchell as Starkey; Bob Williams as Bob; Buddy Lester as Nick; Pat Renella as Roxy; and Norm Grawbowski as Grawbowski. In February 1964 three new cast members were added as Harry moved in with his widowed sister: Elena Verdugo as his sister Audrey; Sandy Descher as her daughter Susan; and Ronnie Dapo as Andy, Audrey's son.
