The Brothers Garcia aired from July 2000 until 2003 on The Nikelodeon Cable Network.
Billed as the first English-Language sitcom with an all-Latino cast and creative team, The Brotheers Garcia was an affectionate look at a middle-class Mexican American family living in San Antonio Texas. In fact it was so relentlessly middle class that it could have been called Leave It To Beaver Espanol. Ray ( Carlos Lacamara), the Dad, was a history professor, while his wife Sonia ( Ada Maris), ran a hair salon. Their rambunctious kids were cool Carlos ( Jeffrey Licon), the operator ( " Don't worry, I have a plan."), chubby George ( Bobby Gonzalez), an internet freak, and put-upon Larry ( Alvin Alverez), who wanted to be an astronaut, and who sometimes lapsed into black-and-white fantasy sequences. Lorena ( Vaneza Leza Pitynski) was Larry's melodramatic twin sister, who was obsessed with Mexican Soap Operas. Stories revolved around little misunderstandings, puppy loves, and family excursions. Larry ( voiced by John Leguizamo) narrated the stories as an adult, making this perhaps more like a Latino Wonder Years.

every photo if you are registered and logged in. This is the quickest and easiest method. You can also
send an e-mail with the url of the photo(s). We will also gladly credit or
link to any site that is the original source of any photos.
