(see this users gallery) Ladies' Man aired from October 1980 until February 1981 on CBS.
It seemed as if everyone in Alan Thackery's ( Lawrence Pressman's) life was a woman. He was a single parent, raising a precocious 8-year-old daughter named Amy ( Natasha Ryan), and often had to seek the advice of Betty ( Karren Morrow), a friendly housewife who lived in his apartment building. His job was that of a feature writer for Women's Life magazine, where his boss was sophisticated, dominate Elaine Holstein ( Louise Sorel), and his co-workers , all extremely attractive, were serious Gretchen ( Simone Griffeth), militant feminist Susan ( Allison Argo), and romantic Andrea( Betty Kennedy). His first assignment there was to write an article called " Sexual Harrasment and The Working Woman," a subject for which firsthand research was a little difficult. The only other male around was Woman's Life's harried bookkeeper Reggie ( Herb Edelman).
A Short Article from Time Magazine

Ladies' Man (CBS, Mondays at 8:30 p.m. E.S.T.) is a clumsy attempt to satirize almost every woman who has a good job and a little ambition. It is set in the offices of a woman's magazine that publishes articles on both "Sexual Harassment and the Working Woman" and "17 Ways with Tuna Fish." The boss is an amalgam of famous woman editors — a sort of Helen Gloria Vreeland. But the moment a token male (Lawrence Pressman) joins the staff, the gals go man-crazy.
The editor in chief (Louise Sorel) tests the new man his first day on the job, promising to advance his career if he agrees to spend the weekend with her. Ladies ' Man may develop into a vehicle for sprightly social comedy but, at the moment, this vehicle is a Ms. carriage.
