(see this users gallery) Sean O'Bryan graduated from St. Xavier High School in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, having never acted at all. During his summer vacation, he was introduced to acting by a friend, who was performing in plays in college. Sean was immediately hooked. He packed his bags and went to Los Angeles without knowing anyone and having nothing but a little money and a dream.
Sean also spent four years in New York City and studied with many teachers, including Gary Austin and Sandy Dennis at the HB Studio.
Sean's feature film credits include "Phenomenon" with John Travolta and "Out to Sea" with Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau. He has worked in three films for director Garry Marshall: "Dear God," "Exit to Eden" and "Frankie and Johnny." Other films include George Gallo's "Trapped in Paradise," Ron Underwood's "Heart and Soul" and Richard Attenborough's "Chaplin." Sean recently starred in "Twilight of the Golds" with Brendan Frazier. He has just wrapped production on the Disney film, "I'll Be Home for Christmas," and the independent feature, "Nice Guys Sleep Alone."
On television, Sean was a series regular on "Pig Sty" and has guest starred on such popular series as "Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place," "Chicago Hope," "The Pretender," "Picket Fences," "Northern Exposure," "Quantum Leap" and "Beverly Hills, 90210." He has also starred in many made-for-television movies, including the highly praised Hallmark Hall of Fame film, "Tim."
On stage, Sean has appeared in numerous theatrical productions, including two Terrence McNally plays in Los Angeles: "It's Only a Play" at the Doolittle and "The Lisbon Traviata" at the Mark Taper Forum. His other theater credits include "Money and Friends," "House Number," "Money Numbers," "Picnic," "The Blonde at the Party," "Evidence of Things Unseen," "Measure for Measure," "27 Wagons Full of Cotton," "The Glass Menagerie," "Crimes of the Heart" and "The Gingerbread Lady."
Sean is married to Canadian actress Samantha Fellows and has a daughter, Mikayla, who is one-and-a-half years old.
In his spare time, Sean enjoys kickboxing, eating "amazing food," yard sales and seeing movies. He also loves buying shoes and says his house looks like a "shoe warehouse."
