Best friends Pete (Richard Ruccolo), Berg (Ryan Reynolds) and Sharon (Traylor Howard) are back for a third season, on ABC's "Two Guys and a Girl." This trio of friends will leave behind their old college hangout, the pizza place, and experience rites of passage that will affect their personal and professional lives. While the pizza place may be gone, Johnny (Nathan Fillion) and Ashley (Suzanne Cryer) are back, rounding out the ensemble as Sharon's and Berg's love interests.
The once pragmatic Pete finds himself conflicted over the amorous feelings he has for best friend Sharon, and he must resolve those feelings for her before he can move forward with his life. In addition, he has permanently abandoned a future in architecture and continues to try to find a career that will truly make him happy.
Strong willed Sharon is left to resolve conflicting emotions for Pete and Johnny when Johnny proposes to her. She loves Johnny and doesn't want to lose him but feels that she must work out her feelings for Pete before she can move forward. Meanwhile, her dream job at an unscrupulous chemical company is becoming more and more of an ethical nightmare, but the security of steady employment, not to mention the perks that come along with it, make it hard for her to leave.
Two Guys And A Girl photo The irrepressible funny man and second-year medical student, Berg, will now dedicate all of his energy toward medical school and quit the pizza place. Of course, this means that he and Ashley will be spending much more time together. Given the somewhat strenuous circumstances of school and their mutually competitive natures, their relationship will be put to the test.
The series stars Traylor Howard as Sharon, Ryan Reynolds as Berg, Richard Ruccolo as Pete, Nathan Fillion as Johnny and Suzanne Cryer as Ashley.
Kevin Abbott ("Roseanne," "Grace Under Fire"), Danny Jacobson ("Mad About You") and Marjorie Weitzman ("Mad About You") are executive producers of the series. Kenny Schwartz, Rick Weiner, Stevie Ray Fromstein and Jan Siegelman are co-executive producers. "Two Guys and a Girl," which premiered on March 11, 1997, is produced by Infront Productions in association with Twentieth Century Fox Television.
