A native of Pittsburgh, Jackson appeared in several theatrical productions, including "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," "Bye Bye Birdie" and "Guys and Dolls." His feature-film credits include "Lorenzo's Oil," "Passed Away" and "Bob Roberts." He studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Studio Ltd. in London.


When Jackson isn't in front of the cameras, he enjoys roller-skating, ice-skating, hiking, traveling and spending time with his father and friends. He has two older sisters. His birthday is June 26.
