Aired on ABC, August 1977 - May 1978. The sitcom Sugar Time! focused on the female rock trio Sugar, which consisted of Maxx (Barbie Benton), a hatcheck girl, Maggie (Marianne Black), a dental hygienist, and Diane (Didi Carr), a dance instructor. Sugar performed gratis at the Tryout Room, a Los Angeles night club owned by Al Marks (Wynn Irwin).
