This sitcom aired from September 1973 until November 1973 on ABC. It starred Robert Urich ( in his first tv role),Anne Archer, David Spielberg, Anita Gillette, Brad Savage, and Jodie Foster.
This comedy concerned 2 Los Angelas couples who were close friends, but rather distant in values and attitudes. Filmmaker Bob Sanders ( Robert Urich) and his wife Carol (Anne Archer ) were in their twenties, "young, aware, and with it." Lawyer Ted Henderson( David Spielberg) and his wife Alice (Anita Gillette ), in their thirties, were much more conventional. Rounding out the cast was Bob and Carol's son Sean ( Brad Savage), and Ted and Alice's daughter Elizabeth ( Jodie Foster). Overly cute stories about nude swimming, premarital sex, and unmarried friends living together helped hasten this generation-gap comedy to an early end. The program was based on the 1969 movie of the same name.
