Blossom Rock's real name was Edith Marie Blossom Macdonald. She was born on August 21, 1895 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Her younger sister was MGM film star Jeannette Macdonald. She was signed by MGM in 1936 where she took the stage name of Marie Blake. She had married Clarence Rock in 1926 so when she went to tv in The Addams Family she used the name Blossom Rock. After The Addams Family left the air she lived in retirement at The Motion Picture Country Home. She died on January 14, 1978.
