TV Guide Close-Up, December 18, 1996:
President Clinton is expected to offer Yuletide greetings during this 15th annual concert, taped last Sunday at the National Building Museum. This year, there's an extraterrestrial twist to the festivities as "3rd Rock from the Sun" cast members John Lithgow, Jane Curtin, Kristen Johnson, French Stewart and Joseph Gordon-Levitt co-host the show and are slated to take part in a sketch that offers "an alien perspective" on the holiday. Scheduled singers: Faith Hill ("Do You Hear What I Hear?", "Silent Night"), Luther Vandross ("O Come, All Ye Faithful," "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas") and CeCe Winans ("O Holy Night"). Also on hand, the U.S. Naval Academy Glee Club and D.C.'s Eastern High School Choir.
