Lenny aired from September 1990 until March 1991 on CBS.
Lenny Callahan ( Lenny Clarke) was a good-natured philosophical working-class husband holding down 2 jobs to try and make a better life for his family in this blue-collar comedy. By day he was a laborer for the Boston electric company and in the evenings he moonlighted as a doorman at a fancy hotel. His devoted wife , Shelly ( Lee Garlington) was a full-time homemaker raising their 3 children -Kelly( Jenna Von Oy), a teenager more interested in her social life than her schoolwork; Tracy ( Alexis Caldwell), a precocious if cynical 10 year old; and Elizabeth ( The Farmer Twins), a cute little todler. Also seen regularly were his younger brother Eddie ( Peter Dobson), an unemployed fast buck artist who spent most of his time dreaming up get-rich-quick schemes that invariably ended up costing Lenny money; and his aging parents Pat and Mary ( Eugene Roche, Alice Drummond). Lenny loved them all , but their problems became his problems and their financial woes always seemed to be pushing him deeper into debt.
