Carol & Company aired from March 1990 until July 1991 on NBC.
Rubber-faced Comedienne Carol Burnett hosted and starred in this weekly comedy anthology. Each week there was a single half-hour "playlet" about someone with an unusual situation. Among the subjects: a temperamental soap opera star, a sex-starved 82-year old in a rest home, a Pollyanna-ish housewife having a nightmare day, a woman applying for a bank loan while her son robs the bank, a Las Vegas preacher who makes the mistake of advertising that she'll "marry anyone," and a recently released asylum inmate struggling to maintain her sanity while applying for a license at the Motor Vehicle Department.
Supporting players included a repertory troupe of actors ( Terry Kiser, Meagan fay, Richard Kind, Anita Barone, Jeremy Piven, Peter Krause) and occasional guest stars including Hal Linden, Christopher Reeve, Nell Carter and Burnett's daughter Carrie Hamilton.

link to any site that is the original source of any photos.
