Katie Joplin aired from August until September 1999 on The WB.
Plainspoken Katie and her teenage son Gray ( Park Overall, Jesse Head) had just arrived in Philadelphia from her native Knoxville, Tennessee, and moved in with her fashion-plate niece Liz ( Ana Reeder), the only person in town they knew. Katie's outspoken nature landed her a job hosting a late-night radio call-in show on FM station WLBP (87.5) when Glen ( Jay Thomas), the station manager to whom she was trying to sell a car, was impressed by her perception, Southern wit, and strong opinions. Although her own social life was in shambles, she provided callers and listeners with good advice on how to deal with the problems in their personal and social lives. Mitchell ( Jim Rash) was the arrogant program-director who was upset that Glen was forcing him to air a talk show on his otherwise all rock-'roll station. He wanted to see Katie flop and teamed her with Tiger ( Simon Rex), an eager but inexperienced young producer, hoping for the worst.

format will not work. You will need to convert them to ".jpg". Please upload only sitcom
and tv related photos.
To request any photos be removed, please use the "Report Photo" link that is the bottom of
every photo if you are registered and logged in. This is the quickest and easiest method. You can also
send an e-mail with the url of the photo(s). We will also gladly credit or
link to any site that is the original source of any photos.
