(see this users gallery) It was in April 1987 that Fox Broadcasting Company launched its prime time schedule with Married... with Children, a playful jab at the idealized sitcom family. Now, 250 episodes later (longer than the Cleavers, Clampetts or Connors), the Bundys continue to entertain in their anything-goes style. "The subject matter is [not] Frasier," says executive producer Pamela Eells, "so the palette is somewhat narrower, but within that palette it's as well-written as any show on TV." Tonight, the writing takes a serious turn when, in the first of two parts, Peggy (Katey Sagal) and Al (Ed O'Neill) together visit a marriage counselor -- but wind up leaving separately.
